Why Always She? - A Women’s Football Podcast

Charli and Matt look forward to the new season of the WSL starting this weekend by making their predictions for the 26/27 campaign. Who'll make the Champions League spots, who's in danger of relegation, who'll be the biggest movers in the right and wrong directions? They also get into a few player predictions, such as who'll claim the Golden Boot, who'll prove to be the most impactful signing for their team, and new and young players to keep an eye on. 

This week Matt and Charli are joined by Ben Meakin, who produces the Women of Steel newsletter on Substack, to preview Leicester City Women's first game of the season away at Sheffield United. They also get Ben's thoughts on how the WSL2 will shape up this season, including potential promotion candidates and how the Foxes will fare.  

Gunners boss Renee Slegers has been crystal clear about their objectives for this season: to be WSL Champions. In this episode, Charli and Matt present their cases for and against Arsenal winning the 26/27 title.
